Growth performance and biomass aquatic plants of Hydrilla verticillata in floating net cages and non-floating net cages in Laut Tawar Lake

Abstract Aquatic plants of Hydrilla verticillata have a role as provider natural food for the aquatic biota Laut Tawar Lake. This study aimed to analyze biomass growth submerged plant found in KJA and non-KJA areas lake. The research was conducted from January April 2022 Lake, Central Aceh Regency. method used determining station this is purposive sampling. Data collection on carried out at 2 observation stations using quadratic transect measuring 1 x m. results showed that verticilata Lake 0.72 cm compared 0.59 which significantly different (p>0.05). measured dry with value 574 g/m2 while it 203 g/m . density water 270 ind/m 173 It can be concluded greater than stations.
